COMMUNITY GARDEN
In previous years, the club has maintained a plot in the Groveport Community Garden where we grow and donate produce to the Greater Groveport Food Pantry. Unfortunately, due to road construction along Wirt Road, the community garden will not be available to gardeners this year. We hope to resume in 2027. Click on the link above to learn more about donating to the food pantry.

HERB GARDEN
The garden club plants and maintains the herb garden at the Heritage Park Log House/Nature Center. The first section of the log house was constructed in 1815 with an addition completed in 1825. The herbs selected for this project are perennials and returning annuals that were commonly grown and used in the Ohio River Valley in the early 1800's.

POLLINATOR GARDEN
The club is in the process of establishing a native pollinator garden between Old Bixby Road and the Blacklick Creek Trail. Due to the proximity of the park and wild areas, this garden will be filled with native plants only, for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, as well as provide butterfly host plants (such as milkweed). As the garden expands, we will install bluebird and other prairie bird houses. We hope to certify the garden as a Monarch Waystation and Wildlife Habitat. Check back for updates! Thank you to the City of Groveport for donating the garden space!
